About Our Jewelry

The Artist

Each piece of jewelry showcased on our website was designed and individually handcrafted by jewelry designer and mixed-media artist Sharon Cipriano. Sharon’s jewelry has been featured in numerous national publications and exhibited in galleries around the United States. She is also the author of the book Masterpieces in Clay.

Sharon lives and works in the historic arts community of Tubac, Arizona.

The Art Heaven Collection

Sharon’s signature etched silver pendants provide the foundation for the Art Heaven Collection. The Argentium sterling silver pendants are acid-etched with patterns adapted from Japanese kimonos, antique manuscripts and other distinctive designs. An image is transfered onto polymer clay using a process that creates a painterly effect resembling porcelain, then mounted on the silver background.

The pendant images are drawn from Japanese woodblock prints, antique postcards, 18th century engravings and Sharon’s own collection of vintage books and papers.

Each pendant comes with a sleek 15-strand sterling silver cable that complements the pendant and transforms it into a simple, elegant piece of wearable art.

Sharon’s exquisite pendants are also used as the focal point of her meticulously crafted one of a kind and limited edition necklaces. These necklaces are designed using the highest quality gemstone, silver and vintage beads. The collection includes both classic single-strand styles and intricate multi-strand creations.

Etched sterling silver earrings in two shapes and a variety of sizes provide the final touch for this fabulous collection.

The Afghan Collection

The Afghan Collection was launched when Sharon discovered a unique style of beads fabricated by traditional artisans in northern Afghanistan. The beads are made of clay that is glazed, fired and finished using centuries-old techniques. This process creates beads in luscious muted colors that have an exotic timeless look.

When Sharon combines the Afghan beads with her etched silver pieces, beads of copper, brass and silver, and a variety of other natural materials, the result is bold and beautiful.
